RC Airplane Articles

Are you interested in rc airplane articles? Obtaining more information about radio control airplanes can be of great benefit to beginners as well as seasoned pilots.

This first article was written by patrick brendel february 20,2009. When it comes to radio-controlled aircraft, wayne funderburgh is as passionate as they come. A former real estate agent, department store manager and shipping manager, funderburburgh founded cedar park's The Hobby Express a year ago.

His intent, as owner of the only hobby shop for rc enthusiasts between round rock and south austin, is to cultivate the rc community in southwest williamson county.

"The hobby shop is open for anybody and everybody to come in and get information and draw knowledge from not only the owner, but anyone in here," funderburgh said. "They can ask questions, get answers and determine whether or not they want to pursue the hobby, and enjoy the camaraderie of the community."

Kevin and Dawn Mayer opened Parker's Hobbies in November 2008.

Here is more information regarding RC Airplane Articles written by Geoff Parks february 13,2009.

Fifteen scale-model, remote-controlled airplanes are lined up in orderly procession in his airplane garage, resting beneath three full-sized planes. All of the RC planes and two of the large planes were built and operated by Lynn McDonald, 74.

Lynn's current RC project is building an authentic 1930's WACO airplane with a 7 1/2-foot wingspan out of spruce and balsa, the newest electronics for the movement of tail rudder and ailerons, and an electric motor.

More RC Airplane Articles will be added as they are found.
